JEA/Loyola Media Day – Jan. 27, 2023
The Louisiana Journalism Education Association & Loyola School of Communication and Design Media Day will be held on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023. The conference will begin at 9 a.m. in Monroe Hall’s Nunemaker Auditorium on the Loyola University of New Orleans campus.
The morning will begin with a keynote address and welcome followed by various sessions on journalism, broadcasting, design, social media, digital filmmaking, motion graphics, public relations, etc.
The cost is $20 per student, no cost for advisers, and includes a T-shirt and lunch in the Danna Student Center. A full schedule will be posted on the JEA Louisiana in early January.
The conference is sponsored by the Loyola School of Communication and Design, the Press Club of New Orleans and Walsworth Yearbooks.

- 8 – 9 – Networking and Breakfast – (Time for schools to arrive and also network in Nunemaker Lobby)
- 9 – 9:50 – Welcome and Keynote (Monroe Hall – Nunemaker Auditorium)
- 10 – 10:30 – Session One (students choose – various locations)
- 10:40 – 11:10 – Session Two (students choose – various locations)
- 11:20 – 11:50 – Session Three (students choose – various locations)
- 12 – 12:50 – Lunch (Danna Center – St. Charles Room)
- 1 – 1:50 – Session Four – Roundtable Discussion
