JEA Louisiana Spring Conference – Tuesday, January 14, 2020
The Louisiana Journalism Education Association & Loyola School of Communication and Design Media Day will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. The conference will begin at 9:20 a.m. in Monroe Hall’s Nunemaker Auditorium on the Loyola University of New Orleans campus.
The morning will begin with a keynote address by Shaneika Dabney-Henderson, Vice President of Production for the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. Following the keynote will be an awards presentation for the JEA/Tom Bell Silver Scribe awards followed by various sessions on broadcasting, design, social media, digital filmmaking, motion graphics, etc.
The cost is $20 per student, no cost for advisers, and includes a t-shirt and lunch in the Danna Student Center. A full schedule will be posted on the JEA Louisiana in late-December.
